I started this project back in 2014.  These are some of the local fish in the St. Lucie River that are affected by algal blooms caused by agricultural runoff and by the draining and rerouting of water flow from the Everglades.  Lake Okeechobee water releases are made to prevent flooding, further increasing the problem due to the contaminated water. The blooms are further stimulated by rising temperatures.
